Unwise Decisions

Humbly speaking, I believe myself to be a pretty smart guy, but I made an incredibly stupid decision that has greatly impacted my year. It all started on January 17, 2009 at 2:30pm when I posted the journal entry titled, ” The Never Ending Vacation.” I introduced and adopted the idea of nonstop outings and nonstop fun in 2009. Unfortunately, the byproduct of a Never Ending Vacation was a feeling of laziness and the lack of desire to do anything worthwhile.

When I reflected back on the first six months of my year I noticed that I went on many, many fun outings, but didn’t accomplish much. Now that I’ve identified the problem, I am directing 100% of my efforts in the coming months towards relieving the plight that I’ve created for myself. I’ve revised my new years goals, reshaped my way of thinking, and started restructuring my life. Geremy is finally ready to work again and the “2009 Never Ending Vacation” is officially over!

“A setback is a setup for a comeback!!!”
