This year I had a goal to produce and release a rap song before the end of the year. Now that 2016 is a week and a half away, I had no choice but to attempt to meet the goal. I present to you…23.50!
Title Explanation
-
The title of the song is called 23.50 because it is 23 seconds long and contains 50 words.

The year is almost over, but Peculiar PPL, we are just getting things started
There is a tension that exists in the dichotomy of something coming to the end while something else simultaneously begins. While “normal people” are starting to wind-down, Peculiar people around the world are ramping-up.
Also, the brand Peculiar PPL is just starting to do amazing things!
We’re full of life, but say goodbye to the dearly departed.
A wise man once said, “some people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75.” This line reflects on the notion that Peculiar people are vivacious and living life to the fullest, but there are some people who choose to simply exist. As a result, Peculiar people must say “goodbye” to these people.
Also, this is also a way to pay respects to the people who lost their life throughout the course of the year. Rest-in-peace and pour out a drink for the homies.
I’m running this track, face the fact I’m having fun
This triumphant declaration suggests that the rapper is the commander of the musical track and he’s having fun while doing it.
This is also a metaphor for a marathon runner who literally sprints on a track and has fun in the process.
I made a song this year, but cut the music, ’cause this song is done!
The purpose of the song is to meet the goal of creating a rap song in 2015. Therefore, this is a reminder that the goal has been met and the shenanigans can finally come to a close.
Maybe I’ll release this song for sale, only on cassette tape for $23.50… Maybe I’ll release a remix in the future… Maybe I’ll record an album of 120 songs that are all under 30 seconds each… Maybe.
