I’ve always had a lot of things on my “to-do one day” list. This included projects that I wanted to start, places that I wanted to go, and things that I wanted to experience, but somehow “one day” never turned into today. In 2023, I purposed to change this and take action on my “one-day” plans. What resulted was an amazing year that was full of growth, stepping out of my comfort zone, and enjoying life.
Here are some of the highlights of my 2023:
Projects
- Built a motorized office chair out of a car seat
- Created a smart LED lighting system for my display cases
- Created an outdoor water fountain for my patio
- Started doing monthly photodumps for on my Instagram page
Life
- Witnessed my nephew taking his first few steps
- I got another nephew when my sister hatched another son
- Sadly, My guinea pig, Society, passed away
- Bought my first refrigerator ever
- Replaced my very old Macbook Pro with a new one
- Replaced my iPhone 12 Pro Max with an iPhone 15 Pro Max
- Launched A Dessert Company

- I took a cooking class
- I visited my former high school for the first time in years
- I went to “The Office Experience” in Toronto
- I went to a clip-and-sip “flower arrangement” birthday party for my mom
- I began riding my bike a few miles regularly each week
- I went to a very nice wedding where I didn’t know the bride or groom
- I got my first Costco birthday cake ever, along with a mini Costco cake
- I attended a book release party
- I attended a paint-and-sip party
- Visited the Yale University Museum and Library
Last year was great. This year will be greater. Onward!
